Our history
A home since 1685, a pub since 1861
Long before it pulled a pint, this building was a private house in the village of Long Marston. It became the local hostelry in 1861, and it's been the heart of the village ever since.
We've kept the character - timber, hearth, and a crest above the door - while bringing the kitchen and bar right up to date.

Past the front lawn and round the back, our decked terrace opens onto open farmland - string lights, bunting, and a view worth lingering over.
In warm weather it's the best seat in the village for a drink, a meal, and a proper sunset.
