Best watched from the secret garden
We're a proper village local at heart - and there's nowhere better to watch the sky turn over the fields than our decked secret garden terrace. A few times a year we turn that same garden into the heart of the village: fireworks in October, the Christmas lights switch-on in November, live music and more scattered throughout the year.
Friday 30th October · family fun from 6pm
Halloween Fireworks Spectacular
Bonfire night comes early to the secret garden - fireworks lighting up the terrace, a food trailer serving up all the classics, and live music from Major Minor once the sky's gone quiet. Dress the little monsters up for a chance to win best dressed.

The Big Switch On
The village's Christmas lights switch-on lands in our garden - a 26ft real tree, craft stalls to pick up a gift or two, and the bar serving a BBQ and pizza alongside live music from a Christmas singer and Major Minor. Billed on the poster as "the Christmas event of the year" - and, "many surprises" and a forecast of snow, transcribed exactly as printed.
